Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with Remington’s Ilion, NY address, “300 REM ULTRA MAG 5R 1:10”, and the “EL” date code. The right side of the barrel is marked with a series of proof marks. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, a QR code, and “Remington / MODEL 700”.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece Grayboe composite stock, with a brown base finish with spiderweb accents, and a semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, rubber Decelerator buttpad, and sling studs front and rear. The LOP measures 13 5/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock shows no notable wear. The stock’s finish is intact throughout. The stock fits tightly to the barreled action, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear, with a couple of minor dings on the muzzle crown, and light operational wear on the bolt. Otherwise, the finish is deep and dark throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its original serial number matching box, owner’s manual/paperwork, and cable lock.

Chambered in .300 Remington Ultra Magnum, this rifle is configured around one of Remington’s most powerful long-range hunting cartridges. This example presents in fine overall condition, retaining the majority of its original Cerakote finish with only light handling evidence and minor marks noted at the muzzle crown. The bore remains bright with sharp rifling, the stock is clean and well fitted, and the markings are clear throughout. With its original box and accessories included, this Remington 700 AWR stands as a solid example of a modern magnum hunting rifle designed for demanding environments and extended-range capability.
