Barrel Length: 8.86”, with a tri lug suppressor mount and the barrel is threaded to 1/2 by 28 TPI with a knurled thread protector.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is an adjustable diopter/rotary drum. The top of the receiver has a 4.5” Picatinny rail section welded on top.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this pistol include a polymer pistol grip trigger housing, and a narrow M-LOK aluminum forend. The forend can be interchanged with other MP5 style forends designed for the 8.86” barrel version. The furniture set shows only very minor handling wear. Overall the furniture is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is some faint fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10 and appears unfired outside of factory testing.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks throughout. There is light wear to the leading edges. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. The bolt gap is 20 thousandths.

Built around the proven roller-delay operating system, the PTR 9 maintains the classic stamped receiver profile, hooded front sight, and rotary drum diopter rear sight that defined the original German pattern. With its 8.86 inch barrel and compact pistol configuration, this example captures the compact handling characteristics that made the MP5-style system internationally recognized in both military and law enforcement roles. Chambered in 9mm Luger, the PTR 9 utilizes one of the most widely adopted handgun and submachine gun cartridges in the world. The roller-delayed system offers smooth recoil impulse and reliable cycling, and this example features a tri-lug suppressor mount along with 1/2×28 threads under a knurled protector for versatile muzzle device compatibility. The welded 4.5 inch Picatinny rail allows for modern optic mounting while retaining the factory iron sights. The polymer pistol grip trigger housing marked “SF” and narrow M-LOK aluminum forend provide updated ergonomics while remaining compatible with other MP5-style components for the 8.86 inch configuration.
Conditionally, this example presents in excellent overall shape, retaining approximately 99 percent of its original finish with only light handling wear visible. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, rating a full 10 out of 10 with only faint fouling present. The bolt gap measures 0.020 inches, indicating strong mechanical health. The included clear ETS 30-round magazines are in excellent condition, and the pistol comes complete with its original hard case, sling, lock, paperwork, and tool.
