Our Assessment: This Taurus PT-132 Pro Millennium reflects Taurus’s early 2000s approach to compact, polymer-framed defensive pistols, blending modern materials with practical defensive dimensions. Part of the Millennium Pro series, the PT-132 was designed to offer improved ergonomics and reliability over earlier iterations, incorporating a striker-fired system with a tilting barrel lockup. The 3.25 inch barrel and double-stack magazine configuration position the pistol as a compact yet higher-capacity option within the .32 ACP category, maintaining a manageable footprint while offering increased onboard capacity. Chambered in .32 ACP, the pistol utilizes a cartridge long favored for compact semi-automatic pistols due to its relatively mild recoil and compact case dimensions. The striker-fired action and tilting lock system reflect Taurus’s move toward modernized internal designs while retaining a consistent trigger pull. The white dot front sight and adjustable square notch rear provide a functional and easily acquired sight picture, complementing the pistol’s intended defensive role. The polymer frame with integral textured grip panels offers secure handling while keeping overall weight down.
Conditionally, this example presents in excellent overall shape, retaining approximately 99 percent of its original finish with only faint handling wear visible. The bore remains bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, earning a strong 9 out of 10 rating despite minor fouling. The barrel hood shows light drag lines consistent with operation, and the included three double-stack magazines remain in very good condition. Accompanied by its original hard case, lock key, and paperwork, this PT-132 Pro Millennium offers a clean and well-preserved example of Taurus’s compact early 21st century semi-automatic pistol design. -R.E.
