The barrel and receiver exhibit deep, even bluing with only light handling wear, while minor freckling at the muzzle crown and floorplate is consistent with careful use rather than neglect. Markings are crisp and legible throughout, and the action cycles smoothly with a properly functioning safety.
The Deluxe walnut stock features correct skip-line checkering, rosewood grip cap and forend tip, and Weatherby’s signature Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece. The gloss finish remains intact, the wood grain is attractive, and the stock fits tightly to the action with no cracks or structural concerns. Completing the package is a period-appropriate Leupold Vari-X III 2.5–8x scope with clear glass and only minor cosmetic wear, mounted on a one-piece Leupold base.
