Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked, “Magnum Research, Pillager MN 45/70 Gov’t”. The bottom of the frame is marked, “BR12539 / BFR”. There are tapped holes for mounting the included scope base on the topstrap.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black ramped blade screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable rectangular notch sight pinned to the top strap with serrated face.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a single piece textured rubber. There is little to no handling wear. There are no rips or chunks missing. Overall this grip rates in about Excellent to Like-New overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10 and appears unfired outside of factory testing.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99%+ of its metal finish. There is little to no handling wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent to Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
