Markings: The receiver is marked “BERETTA Made In Italy Patented AA237243 BT / AL 391 Teknys – 12 GA BERETTA”. The barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY CB 12 GA. 3″ – 26″ OPTIMA-BORE AB230271” and a warning. Also “ALLOYED CR. MO. QUENCHED HIGH TENSILE STEEL”.
Barrel Length: 26″ With Vent Rib.
Choke: The shotgun is threaded for Optima Bore chokes. Currently installed with Improved Modified. Also includes Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder. 5 chokes total.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber optic front sight that is screw set to the rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two piece checkered walnut set with full finger shelf thin profile forend and a semi-pistol grip stock with fluted straight comb and a Gel-Tek butt pad. The wood shows some very minor scattered compressions and handling marks. There are no cracks. There are two barely visible chips on the left side of the nose of the forend. The Gel-Tek pad is still pliable. The length of pull is 14.5″. The drop at comb is 1.5″ and the drop at heel is 2″. This shotgun includes the drop and cast shim kit. The shotgun weighs 7lbs 2oz. Overall the wood is in Very Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The Smooth bore is mirror bright with no erosion or pitting. There is some minor plastic fouling in the forcing cone. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.25/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The barrel shows some very minor scattered handling with no real notable marks. The receiver shows virtually no marks or marrs. The enamel shows some very fine surface level lines. The markings are clear and the pins are un-marred. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good+-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
