Markings: The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, “177-67717” and the Ruger Phoenix logo. The right side of the barrel is marked, “RUGER GP100 / 357 MAGNUM”. The left side of the barrel has the Ruger Newport address.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a drift adjustable square notch pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a single piece rubber sleeve with inset checkered wood panels on either side. There are faint handling marks throughout. The texturing is unworn. Overall this grip is in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is moderate stubborn fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates at 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The cylinder shows a very thin crisp turn line. The markings are clear, the pins unmarred and the screw heads sharp. Overall this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

The action functions correctly in both double- and single-action modes, with Ruger’s hallmark strength and tight lockup. Included with this revolver is the original gray Ruger hard case and factory paperwork, rounding out a highly collectible and shootable package.
