Markings: The bottom of the barrel is marked “02 18462 09-21-750”. The top of the barrel is marked 338 lm 1-9.4”. The left side of the upper receiver is marked “MRAD / MULTI-ROLE ADAPTIVE DESIGN”. The left side of the lower receiver is marked “BARRETT FIREARMS MFG. INC. / MURFREESBORO, TN, USA / MRAD / MULTI-CALIBER / FJ000575”.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece metal stock integral to the lower receiver, and has an adjustable comb/cheekpiece, rubber buttpad, QD sling attachment, and a bottom picatinny rail. The LOP measures 13 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock shows no notable wear, and rates in Excellent condition. The handguard is integral to the upper receiver, and features a 22 1/2″ picatinny rail on top, and the handguard is also M-Lok compatible. There is a bipod attached to the bottom of the handguard. The handguard and bipod rate in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: 3x 10rd Barrett factory magazines, all in Excellent condition. 2 of the magazines are still in un-opened factory packaging.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows no notable wear, other than superficial handling marks. The markings are clear and legible. The finish is deep and dark throughout. The pins are unmarred. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. The two-stage factory trigger has a light, crisp, and clean break with minimal over-travel. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Barrett MRAD (Multi-Role Adaptive Design) is a modern, purpose-built precision chassis rifle introduced in the 2000s for modular, multi-caliber long-range use. Chambered here in .338 Lapua Magnum — a high-performance, military-grade long-range cartridge developed for extreme-range precision in both military and civilian/competition applications — this example retains the factory 26″ fluted, 1:9.4″ threaded barrel with its 2-port muzzle brake, full-length top rail and M-Lok compatible handguard that make it adaptable for a variety of tactical and precision applications.
Cosmetically and mechanically the rifle is excellent: about 99% of the original black anodized finish remains, the bore is bright with sharp rifling and rates 10/10, pins and controls are unmarred, and the integral metal stock, adjustable comb and handguard show no notable wear. Functionally the action and safety operate correctly and the two-stage factory trigger breaks light and clean. Complete with a bipod and three 10 round magazines, this rifle is ready to be paired with a quality optic then used at the range. This rifle would make a great addition for a collector of Barrett rifles, or for the shooter who wants a unique and quality rifle to compete with.
