The metal surfaces display the warm, aged luster typical of antique silver alloy.
Barrel / Bore Condition: Smoothbore configuration typical of .64-caliber dueling pistols. The bores look almost untouched and in this writer’s opinion rate 9.8/10.
Mechanics: Both pistols employ percussion ignition with half-cock safety positions and functional captured ramrods. We did not fire these pistols. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment:
This matched pair of W. Parker, London percussion dueling pistols represents a rare and visually stunning form of early 19th-century English craftsmanship. The German silver saw-grip handles exemplify high-end presentation and transitional design aesthetics, blending the refinement of late-flintlock dueling pistols with the reliability of the percussion era. The engraved shields, crowned proofs, and hidden butt-cap compartments reveal attention to both artistry and function.
At .64 caliber with 4-inch smoothbore barrels, these compact dueling arms demonstrate the evolving taste of the gentleman sportsman, where form and flair matched precision. The fitted veneered case, complete with powder horn, tools, and lead balls, enhances the ensemble’s completeness and collector appeal. Sets of this configuration—particularly with German silver saw-grip frames—are seldom encountered intact, marking this as an especially desirable offering for collectors of British dueling pistols and fine antique arms. So bid high and bid firm. I encourage you to look at the item’s condition in our high-quality photos. Good luck with your bid. -K.F.
