Our Assessment:
The Winchester Model 94 Arapaho Commemorative was produced in 1983 to honor the proud Arapaho Nation and two of its most respected leaders—Chief Left Hand and Chief Little Raven. These men were central figures during the 19th century, remembered for their efforts to secure peace and preserve their people’s way of life amid sweeping changes in the American West.
The rifle itself is a classic Model 94AE chambered in the iconic .30-30 Winchester cartridge, a round that has long symbolized the lever-action era for hunters and collectors alike. Its combination of high-polish bluing, deep gold plating, and fine walnut checkering captures Winchester’s craftsmanship during its commemorative years.
This example remains in outstanding condition with its complete original packaging and documentation, representing both a tribute to Native American heritage and a beautifully executed piece of Winchester artistry.
