Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with Savage’s Westfield, MA address, along with “MODEL 110 .338 LAPUA MAG.”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number. Both right and left sides of the stock are marked “SAVAGE ARMS”. The bolt is marked “SAVAGE”, with the Savage logo. The right side of the barrel is marked with Savage’s 3-line warning & address.
Barrel Length: 26”. 30” with 3-port muzzle brake (5/8-24 UNEF-3A thread pitch), 1:9 twist.
Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The receiver is mounted with a CounterSniper Military Optical Gunsight Corporation Crusader 4-48×56 scope, with an illuminated TDRM MOA reticle, second focal plane. The glass in the scope is clear. The illumination in the reticle functions as expected. The scope shows no notable wear. Overall, the scope rates in Excellent condition. The scope is mounted on a MARS-style picatinny rail system, which features a rail on the top of the receiver, barrel, and at the 3 O’clock and 9 O’clock positions. The scope sits in 30mm CounterSniper rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a Magpul PRS-G3 stock with an adjustable LOP, adjustable comb, and a rubber buttpad. The pistol grip is an H&K PSG1 style pistol grip, that features a textured grip body and finger grooves. The pistol grip also features an adjustable palm shelf. The forend and receiver are a 2-piece aluminum chassis system, which allows the heavy contour fluted barrel to be free floated. Overall, the chassis, pistol grip and stock rate in Excellent condition. There is a bipod attached to the bottom of the forend.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. THERE IS A SOLVENT SOAKED PAPER TOWEL STUCK IN THE BARREL, JUST BELOW THE MUZZLE BRAKE. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear, with some minor operational wear on the action and a couple of minor dings in the top picatinny rail. The finish is deep and dark throughout. The barreled action fits tightly into the chassis. There are no chips or cracks anywhere. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. The user-adjustable Accu-Trigger has a light, crisp and clean break. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This Savage Model 110 BA is a purpose-built, precision-oriented chassis rifle — a heavy-contour, free-floated 26″ fluted barrel on a two-piece aluminum MARS-style rail with a Magpul PRS-G3 stock and CounterSniper 4–48×56 optic. The package presents very well cosmetically and the aluminum chassis and stock hardware show minimal wear; however, a solvent-soaked paper towel is currently lodged in the bore just below the muzzle brake and should be removed and the bore reinspected prior to any use.
The .338 Lapua Magnum was developed in the late 1980s as a military/long-range cartridge for high-energy transfer at extended-ranges, and remains a top choice where large-bore, long-distance performance is required. Functionally the rifle checks out — the action operates correctly, the safety is functional, and the user-adjustable Accu-Trigger breaks clean and light; the bore is reported at an 8/10 (note the obstruction). Accessories and strengths here — MARS rail with extensive mounting real-estate, high-power precision optic, adjustable PRS stock, and included AI-pattern magazine — make this a turnkey long-range platform once the bore obstruction is addressed.
