Markings:
The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING MODEL 12 20 GA–2 ¾” SHELLS ONLY MOD”. The right side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The bottom of both the receiver and barrel shank are marked “00424PN932”. There is tastefully gilded engraving of fowling scenes on either side of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a steel bead fixed to the ventilated rib. There is a small brass alignment bead at mid barrel. The top of the rib and receiver are serrated to reduce glare while aiming.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is in a 2 piece wood configuration featuring a fluted straight comb, composite Browning buttplate, capped pistol grip and checkered forend. The LOP is 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There are a few light handling marks present on the buttstock and more on the forend . There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates a Fine to Excellent condition.

Choke: Barrel modified to accept Briley S-3 Screw In chokes: Installed choke marked Briley “LMOD”.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains nearly all of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows just a few light handling marks. There is light operational wear on the mag tube. The screw heads are lightly tool marked but have serviceable slots. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp. Overall, this shotgun rates an Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
