Sights / Optics: The front of the barrel has a blade pinned to a ramped base fixed to the barrel. The rear of the barrel has a weaver rail with a stainless Weaver MicroTrac scope fitted to it. The scope is in Very Good condition, however the reticle has some bubbling.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This encore has a two piece T/C rubber overmold set with a schnabel forend and finger grooves on the pistol grip. There are moderate rub marks throughout. There are no rips or chunks missing. Overall this furniture set rates in about Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is faint erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates at a 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few small wear and rub marks throughout and a spot of patina on the barrel. The action has light wear. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins unmarred. Overall, this Encore rates in at about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This Thompson Center Encore chambered in .308 Winchester is a powerful, precision-oriented single-shot pistol designed for hunting, long-range target shooting, and field versatility. The stainless steel finish remains strong, with about 97% intact and only minor handling wear and patina present. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and faint erosion, earning a 9/10 in this writer’s opinion. The T/C rubber overmolded grip and forend show moderate wear but are structurally intact and ready for use.
