Overall Condition: The pistol retains approximately 97% of its metal finish with light handling marks on the receiver and minor storage rubs on the barrel. Wood grip is sound with normal handling wear. Screw heads and fasteners are serviceable. Overall this example presents in Fine–Excellent condition for a competition pistol.
Mechanics: The action and electronic trigger components are complete and appear in good order. The electronic trigger is powered by a 15-volt battery stored in a compartment accessible from the underside of the grip; a spare 15-volt battery is included in the case. The grip-mounted safety/lock mechanism is a rotated locking cam at the rear left of the grip (marked with an arrow and an “L”), which provides a mechanical lockout for the electronic unit when rotated to the locked position. The trigger unit, adjustment screws, and linkage show no obvious damage and fasteners appear serviceable. We did not test-fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Accessories: Original fitted Morini Competition Arm hard case with red interior, factory test target packet (serialized to the gun), spare 15-volt battery (still in plastic), brass cleaning rod, foam spacers and original paperwork.
Our Assessment:
The Morini CM 84E remains one of the benchmark free pistols in international competition—engineered in Switzerland for the narrow purpose of extreme precision at 50 meters. Its long barrel, anatomically sculpted walnut grip, and aboard electronic trigger system offer the control and repeatability sought by top-level competitors. The included factory test packet and spare battery add to its completeness, making this a good candidate for a shooter who expects to compete or to a collector who prizes a fully equipped example.
Mechanically this example appears complete and well-maintained; the electronic trigger housing and grip-mounted lock operate as intended in appearance, and the bore and mechanical linkages present in excellent order. While we did not function-test the pistol, the visible components—including the battery contacts and safety cam—are intact and ready for a gunsmith or owner familiar with competition electronics to inspect and verify prior to immediate competition use.
For shooters and collectors seeking a turnkey free pistol with proper accessories, this CM 84E is a strong offering. It balances original finish and crisp bore condition with the correct factory case and paperwork—details that matter at the range and on the winner’s rostrum. So bid high and bid firm. I highly encourage you to take a look at the condition of the revolver in our high-quality photos. Good luck with your bid. -K.F.
