Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Lyman beaded blade dovetailed into a Lyman ramped base fixed to the barrel. A Lyman receiver sight is installed at the rear. The rifle is topped with a vintage Lyman Super Targetspot 20x power scope, mounted in external micrometer-adjustable rings. The glass is clear and the adjustments are functional.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is stocked in a finely checkered walnut with schnabel forend, capped pistol grip, fluted straight comb, sling studs front and rear, and a steel checkered buttplate. The checkering is sharp with only light handling wear. There are scattered minor compressions and faint marks consistent with use, but no cracks or chips. The LOP measures 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. Overall, the stock is in Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion visible under normal inspection. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 97% of its blue refinish. The finish is strong throughout with only light operational wear on the bolt body and a few scattered handling marks. The markings range from clear to shallow but remain legible.The screw heads show light use but retain strong serviceable slots. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety and trigger operate properly, and the bolt cycles smoothly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included with the rifle is the mounted Lyman Super Targetspot 20x scope in its external adjustment rings.
