Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded beaded blade dovetailed to a serrated ramped base, fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the barrel. The top of the receiver is scope grooved.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, Winchester rubber buttpad, and barrel band on the forend. There is no notable handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 7/8 from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stocks rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no operational wear. The finish is strong and complete throughout. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The magazine tube The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.

Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 9422 Tribute was introduced as a commemorative nod to one of the most beloved rimfire lever-action rifles ever produced. By 2005, Winchester was winding down production of the 9422, and the Tribute models were made to honor its legacy before it left the catalog.
