Sights/Optics: The front sight is a hooded beaded blade dovetailed into a serrated ramped base screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a “U” notched leaf on a sliding ramped riser that is fixed to the barrel. It is adjustable for windage and elevation. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped and filled to allow for the mounting of optics (None Included).
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stocks are a two-piece fleur de lis pattern checkered walnut set with a capped forearm, a capped pistol grip, a fluted straight comb and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt plate. The butt plate has no notable defects. The checkering on the buttplate is sharp. The stocks rate in about Excellent-Like New overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Markings: The left side of the receiver is engraved and has a gold depiction of Remington’s founder, Eliphalet Remington, carrying a rifle. The right side of the receiver is engraved and has a gold banner with the word “1816 BICENTENNIAL 2016”.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable operational wear. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The magazine is currently stuck in the rifle. We have not attempted to force it out in order to avoid causing damage to the firearm or the magazine. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: Included is a 4-round magazine, Remington original factory box, a locking device, a cleaning brush, certificate and handouts.
Our Assessment: The Remington 7600 Bicentennial Limited Edition is a handsome commemorative rifle built to honor 200 years of American gunmaking excellence, and it does so in true Remington fashion. Chambered in the classic .30-06 Springfield, this pump-action rifle combines modern reliability with historical tribute. The engraved receiver features Eliphalet Remington in gold on the left and a commemorative “1816 Bicentennial 2016” banner on the right, making it a standout for collectors and patriots alike. The walnut furniture, adorned with fleur-de-lis style checkering, complements the polished blue finish, and the rifle is clearly built with care and presentation in mind.
This example appears unfired and is in Like New condition with a bright, sharp bore and nearly flawless finish. It includes the original factory box, paperwork, a cleaning brush, and a certificate of authenticity—everything you’d want from a presentation-grade piece. The only point to note is that the included 4-round magazine is currently stuck in the rifle. While it appears to be a simple interference issue, it was not forced for risk of damage.
