Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.

Our Assessment: The 6.5-06 is a high-velocity wildcat cartridge based on the .30-06 Springfield case necked down to accept 6.5mm projectiles. It offers excellent long-range performance with flatter trajectories, higher ballistic coefficients, and lighter recoil than the parent case, making it a favorite among precision shooters and hunters pursuing medium game. With ample case capacity and efficient bullet profiles, the 6.5-06 delivers impressive energy retention and accuracy at extended distances, rivaling the performance of factory 6.5mm offerings like the 6.5 Creedmoor and .260 Remington, while offering more flexibility in handloading. This is a beautiful sporterized rifle that will make a great hunting rifle. Please see our photos, and good luck on your bidding! – J.D.
