Markings: The upper tang is marked “P42804B ULTRA LIGHT”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY P. BERETTA ULTRA LIGHT DELUXE PATENTED”. The left side of the barrels are marked “ULTRALIGHT BERETTA – MADE IN ITALY GARDONE V.T. 12 GA. 2 3/4″ – 28” -EXCELSIOR- HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL-”. The left side is also marked with all the usual measurements and proofs. The bottom of the monobloc is marked “22437B” and “P42804B BT”. The right side is marked with the ACKK address and a warning. The inside of the forend is marked “P42804B”.
Barrel Length: 28”
Choke: The barrels are cut for Beretta Mobil chokes. The shotgun includes FULL, Modified, Improved Cylinder, Cylinder, and Improved Modified. 5 chokes total.
Sights / Optics: The top of the rib is finely checkered to reduce glare. The front sight is a brass bead.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two-piece checkered select walnut with a traditional rounded Schnabel tipped forend, and a semi pistol grip, fluted straight comb stock with a rubber buttpad. The length of pull is 14 3/8″, the drop at comb is 1.5” and the drop at heel 2.5”. The cast is slightly right handed. The shotgun weighs 6lbs 3 OZ. The wood minor scattered marks from handling and a few small surface level lines with none being notable. There are no visible chips or cracks. The buttpad is soft. Overall the wood is in about Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blue and silver with gold accents.
Finish Originality: The finish is Original to the parts.
Bore Condition: The smooth bores are bright and there is no visible erosion. There is some minor fouling in the forcing cones and some plastic fouling present just in front of the chokes. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun is in Excellent overall condition showing only minor handling with no notable marks or marrs.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does set automatically and functions properly when set manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
