Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER Model 1892 — Caliber 357 Mag ONLY”. The top of the chamber and top of the receiver both have an ovalled “WP” proof. The right of the barrel marked “Made by Miroku – Japan — Imported by BACO, Inc. – Morgan, Utah / Winchester is a registered trademark of Olin Corporation”. The top tang is marked “WINCHESTER / MODEL 1892”. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number.
Barrel Length: 20”, Round
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded serrated blade dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch semi-buckhorn leaf and elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are 2-piece smooth walnut with capped forend, straight grip, straight comb, and steel crescent buttplate. There are a few hardly noticeable faint compressions on the comb and belly. The LOP measures 12 5/8? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Overall, the stocks are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout with no notable handling or operational wear. The screwheads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in about Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
