Our Assessment: This Mexican Mauser Model 1910 began life as a military bolt-action rifle made by Fabrica Nacional de Armas in Mexico City, likely in the interwar or WWII era. It has since been professionally sporterized and rebarreled in the flat-shooting .243 Winchester by L.O. Bauska, a respected name in precision barrel making. The octagonal 24” barrel is nicely fitted, and the bore remains bright with sharp rifling—rating 9.5/10 in our assessment. The rifle is topped with a one-piece scope rail for optics and is set into a handsome Monte Carlo-style walnut stock with rosewood accents and a Pachmayr recoil pad. Retaining 98% of its blue finish and marked by a sharp Mexican crest, and minimal wear, this is a very attractive sporter build. Whether you’re a Mauser enthusiast, vintage rifle collector, or hunter looking for a dependable and unique bolt gun, this piece offers accuracy, quality craftsmanship, and C&R eligibility.
