Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “SA58 308 CAL. SER# DS41661”. The right side has the DSA address. The lower is marked, “03067 / S R”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post set between two protective ears and the rear sight is a two-position Para style peep sight marked at 150 and 250 respectively.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a three piece set with a grooved forend for use of a bipod, pistol grip, dropped comb, with a rubber buttpad and two sling loops. There are scratches and scuffs throughout. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks rate in Very Good condition. The receiver has a ribbed carry handle.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates at a 9.9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks present including chips in the black finish. The muzzle device has some wear marks. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
