Our Assessment: This Remington Model Seven was custom-built by the Remington Custom Shop in 1994, a rare and desirable version of the already well-regarded Model Seven. Chambered in the flat-shooting 7mm-08 Remington cartridge and featuring a seldom-seen full Mannlicher-style laminate stock, this rifle offers a striking blend of function and form. The 20” barrel, short action, and sleek profile make this an ideal rifle for the deer stand, saddle scabbard, or deep woods hunting where weight and maneuverability matter.
The Mannlicher stock adds European flair to an otherwise all-American hunting rifle and provides additional rigidity to the forend for consistent accuracy. Topped with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5–5x scope, it’s field-ready with optics well-suited to low-light conditions and fast shots in close cover. The clean bore and smooth action reflect its Custom Shop pedigree and thoughtful care.
Whether you’re a hunter in need of a capable mountain rifle or a collector of unique Remington builds, this Model Seven offers both refined craftsmanship and practical performance. Custom Shop rifles like this one don’t surface often—don’t miss your chance to own a rare variant of one of Remington’s best. So bid high and bid firm. I encourage you to take a look at the condition in our high quality photos. Good luck on your bid. -K.F.
