Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned blade, and the rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: Installed on the revolver is a high-visibility “Zombie” Green synthetic grip, designed for ease of location in emergencies. An additional black grip is included with the kit. The installed grip shows only light handling wear and is free of chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains approximately 99% of its metal finish. There are faint handling marks along the frame and cylinder, including a light turn line. The screw heads are sharp, the markings are clear, and all surfaces retain their factory fit and finish. The revolver rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double-action pull is smooth and the single-action break is crisp. Cylinder timing and lock-up are tight. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver includes its complete original Smith & Wesson Emergency Survival Kit. The kit includes two emergency Mylar blankets, a compact survival guide book, a folding pocket knife, a spark striker and fire wick, a signaling mirror, a compass, a wire-style survival saw, a whistle, and an extra black synthetic grip. All components are housed in the factory-issued black and yellow rugged polymer carry case, designed for stowage in aircraft or vehicles.
