Markings: The receiver is marked “CORTONA PRESTIGE” and “224348”. The inside of the receiver has some proofs. The wooden butt plate is marked “CORTONA”. The forend iron is marked “224348”. The left side of the barrel set is marked “KALISPEL-CUSICK, WA- MADE IN ITALY Warning: Read your owner’s manual before use 28 GA. 2” ¾ Chamber 28/70”. The monobloc is marked “224348 IR CB” with proofs.
Barrel Length: 28”. Vent-Rib.
Choke: Threaded for Technichoke interchangeable chokes. Currently installed Improved Modified Over Improved Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: The front of the serrated rib has a brass bead front sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two-piece checkered fancy walnut with straight hand, straight comb stock with serrated wooden butt plate. The forend is a slab side Schnabel tip profile with a push button release. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock has a slight right hand cast, the drop at comb is 1.5” and the drop at heel is 2”. The shotgun weighs 5lbs 12OZ. The wood shows some very minor compressions and surface level lines scattered throughout. There are no chips or cracks visible. Overall the wood is in Excellent+ condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright. There is no erosion or plastic fouling in the bores. If this shotgun had been fired outside of factory testing it was very little. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains 99% of its metal finish. The rib shows some mild oxidation in the serrations mainly towards the receiver. The barrel set shows some minor scattered marks with minor rust freckling in the bluing and one notable marr on the left side just above the receiver. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall this shotgun is in Very Good+ to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The safety functions properly when manually set. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards. The break open action is smooth and the lock up and trigger pull is crisp. The mechanical trigger functions properly.
