Action Type: Single and Double Action Semi-Automatic pistol with Detachable Magazine and Frame-Mounted safety / De-cocker. 

Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “HK USP COMPACT .45 AUTO / KI 29-012706”.  The bottom of the trigger guard is marked “WARNING REFER TO OWNER’S MANUAL”. The grip is marked “HK USP” on one side and “pat.pend” on the other.  The right side of the frame is marked “Heckler & Koch GmbH / Made in Germany”.  The accessory rail is marked “Heckler & Koch INC 29-012706 Sterling . VA”.  The chamber is marked “HK .45 AUTO / 29-012706”.  

Barrel Length: 3.5”. 

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted tritium lamp inserted blade dovetailed to the slide.  The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with two white tritium lamp dots.  3 DOT Night sights. The tritium lamps have depleted.   

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are integral to the black polymer frame and have square checkering on the front and back straps with texturing on the flanks. The grips show only minor handling.  Overall, the grips are in Very Good+ to Excellent condition.  The bottom of the frame has an accessory rail. The frame has a safety / de-cocking lever.

Finish Originality: Original 

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the polygonal rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny. The bore shows some very minor fouling that should be easily removed with a good cleaning. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.  

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish.  There is very light operation wear on the barrel hood. The stainless finish shows some scattered surface level lines. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety / de-cocker works as intended. The gun does not have a magazine disconnect. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. 

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes three 8 round magazines with finger tabs. All the magazines are in Very Good+-Excellent condition.
