Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PYTHON .357 / * .357 MAGNUM *”. The left side of the frame just below the cylinder release has the Rampant Colt Logo. The right side of the barrel is marked “COLT’S MFG. HARTFORD, CT U.S.A.” The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked “PY267257” along with a QR code.

Stock Configuration and Condition: This firearm comes with two target grips (two-piece checkered wood panels). There are no chips or cracks in either. The checkering is well-defined. Overall, both grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In the writer’s opinion, the bore rates at a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its finish. There is no turn line, as well as no nicks or scratches. This firearm shows no signs of being fired. Overall this pistol is in like-new condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock-up on this revolver is very solid, with minimal play when the trigger is depressed. The trigger is smooth in double action, and crisp in single action. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be required to meet your maintenance standards.
