Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with the number 8. The left side of the frame is marked with the Performance Center S&W Monogram. The right side of the barrel is marked “357 / MAG”. The right side of the frame is marked with a 4-Line Marcas Registradas.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with an orange plastic insert dovetailed to the barrel shroud. The rear sight is a rectangular notch integral to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece textured wood with finger grooves and S&W monograms engraved at their tops. There are no chips or cracks. The texture is crisp. There is little to no handling wear. The grips rate in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is a light turn line on the cylinder. The screwheads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. There is faint play on the chambers in full lockup. The double-action trigger pull is smooth with a crisp single-action break. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
