Our Assessment: This Tippmann Armory 9mm Gatling Gun is a stunning example of how 19th-century engineering can be reimagined for modern fun and function. Built with historical reverence and precision machining, this manually operated rotary gun pays homage to Dr. Richard Gatling’s revolutionary 1862 design—while adding modern materials and compatibility with the affordable and ubiquitous 9mm Luger cartridge.
Because it is hand-crank operated and fires one round per manual operation, this is not classified as a machine gun by the ATF, and can be owned without NFA registration under federal law (state laws may vary). This model is a favorite among collectors, show exhibitors, and anyone who wants to add a head-turning centerpiece to their collection.
Whether you’re a serious Gatling enthusiast or someone seeking the ultimate “range toy,” this piece delivers form, function, and firepower with dramatic visual appeal. Don’t miss your chance to own this limited-production marvel of brass and blued steel. Please see our photos and good luck on your bid! – L.S.
