Our Assessment: The Parker Bros. VH Grade represents one of the most accessible and well-loved entries in the iconic Parker shotgun lineup. Built with steel barrels and quality American walnut, these shotguns were designed for working sportsmen who wanted the reliability and handling of a Parker without the embellishment of higher grades. This particular example, built in the 1930s, reflects Parker’s strong commitment to craftsmanship even in their “economy” line.

With 32” barrels choked Fixed Improved Modified, this gun was likely intended for waterfowl or trap shooting—both disciplines where reach and pattern density are paramount. The long barrels and solid rib give it excellent swing characteristics, and the brass bead front sight provides a fast and traditional sight picture. This beauty also features the very rare 3″ chamber.

Collectors and shooters alike will appreciate this well-preserved Parker VH for its utility and historical appeal. It’s a fine representation of American double gun engineering and a worthy addition to any collection of sporting arms. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
