Markings: The barrel is marked with a Ruger safety label and Southport address. The left side of the receiver is marked “RUGER .22 CAL. LONG RIFLE / MARK II TARGET”. The right side of the receiver is marked “213-52163”. 

Barrel Length: 5.5” Bull barrel.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge blade sight screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch dovetailed to the receiver.

Stock Configuration & Condition: There are two piece checkered Zytel polymer with a Ruger medallion on the right side. There are light wear marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips and cracks. The grips rate in Fine overall condition. 

Magazine Quantity & Condition: One x 10rd .22lr Ruger brand magazine in Excellent condition. 

Type of Finish: Blued

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10. 

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong and compete throughout. There is no notable operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Original cardboard box, paperwork, total of one magazine, and Ruger letters confirming special government contract over run of this pistol, original ownership by Stan Terhune who was head of Ruger’s foundry, Pine Tree Casting.
