The left side of the barrel is marked “44 MAGNUM”. The right side of the frame is marked with the four-line Smith & Wesson address. The left side of the frame bears the Smith & Wesson monogram logo. The crane cut is marked with the model and engineering revision “MOD 629-6”. The revolver features factory floral and scroll-style high-relief engraving across the frame, barrel, cylinder, and sideplate.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned black ramp with red insert. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are factory checkered hardwood with finger grooves and inset Smith & Wesson medallions. The wood is sharply checkered and smooth, with no wear visible. The grips rate in Excellent to Like New condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains 99%+ of its original factory finish. There are no signs of use, holster wear, or handling. The engraved surfaces are crisp and clean. The screw heads are sharp and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions properly. The single and double action trigger pulls are smooth and clean, and the cylinder locks up tightly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is the original Smith & Wesson blue plastic case with matching end label (SKU: 150715), and factory paperwork.
