Our Assessment: This is a 1917 Erfurt-manufactured P08 Luger, one of the most iconic sidearms of the First World War. The Erfurt Arsenal was the official Imperial German military armory and produced Lugers exclusively for government contracts. These pistols are highly sought after due to their historical significance, precision machining, and unique toggle-lock action.
The 1917 chamber date places this example squarely in the middle of WWI, likely having seen use by German forces during some of the most intense years of the war.
Whether you are a military arms collector, a Luger enthusiast, or a history buff, this Erfurt P08 is a desirable and historically rich addition. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
