Our Assessment:  The Winchester Model 70 has long been hailed as “The Rifleman’s Rifle,” and this early Post-64 transitional version from 1960 still retains many of the qualities that made the Pre-64s legendary—particularly its controlled round feed and robust action. Chambered in the flat-shooting and powerful .264 Winchester Magnum, this rifle was designed for long-range performance on game such as deer, antelope, and even elk.

This particular rifle is enhanced with a Swarovski Z3 4-12×50 scope, offering exceptional clarity and precision. The matte blued finish, classic checkered walnut stock, and 26″ barrel give it both elegance and long-range capability. The bore condition and mechanics reflect careful handling and excellent maintenance, making it a top-tier choice for collectors and hunters alike.

For those looking to add a high-performance vintage bolt-action rifle to their collection—or to take a piece of American sporting history afield—this C&R-eligible Model 70 in .264 Win Mag offers both nostalgic appeal and modern utility.  Please see our High Quality photos and good luck on your bids.-C.M.
