Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “GEVARM / CARABINE AUTOMATIQUE / CAL. .22 L.R.” and the right side is marked “MADE IN FRANCE”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed blade. The rear sight is an elevation-adjustable notch mounted to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece hardwood with a semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and polymer buttplate. There are several shallow compressions, light nicks, and minor finish loss throughout the buttstock and forend, consistent with moderate handling and use. The Length of Pull (LOP) measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There is no checkering. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows general operational wear and thinning on leading edges. There are scattered handling marks, minor scratches, and spots of finish loss, particularly on the receiver flats and trigger guard. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
