Our Assessment: The Remington Model 3200 was introduced in the early 1970s as a premium-grade over/under shotgun, intended to compete with European makers in the competitive trap and skeet markets. Built in Ilion, New York, the 3200 was heavy, solid, and precision machined—well-suited for high-volume shooting and competition.
Its robust action, removable trigger group, and vent-ribbed barrels were ahead of their time in many respects, and this model gained a loyal following among serious trap and skeet shooters. With 30” barrels, this example is configured for trapshooting, offering excellent swing and sighting characteristics.
For shooters looking to add a classic American double gun to their collection, or for those wanting a rugged, well-made over/under with character and competitive history, this Remington 3200 will make a solid choice. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
