Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “.44.” The left side of the slide is marked “DESERT EAGLE -41/44 MAGNUM PISTOL ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES.” The right side of the slide is marked “MAGNUM RESEARCH INC. MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. MADE IN ISRAEL.” The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “43960.”
Barrel Length: 6″ with Top Rib (drilled, tapped, and filled for optics mounting)
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade fixed to the barrel rib. The rear sight is a square-notch, claw-style sight dovetailed into the rear of the slide.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The pistol is equipped with a one-piece wrap-around black rubber grip. The grip shows minimal handling wear and rates in about very good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One .44 Magnum magazine is included and rates in about Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: FDE (Flat Dark Earth) Cerakote with Black Accents
Finish Originality: Custom Aftermarket Cerakote
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is very light fouling near the chamber. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its custom Cerakote finish. The balance of the finish shows only light operational handling marks. Some rub on the safety selector. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are clean. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a blue S&W hard case (not original to the pistol) and one magazine.
