Our Assessment: Great Western Arms Company was established in the 1950s to meet the renewed demand for single-action revolvers spurred on by the popularity of Western films and television. These revolvers were built in California and were intended to emulate the classic Colt Single Action Army, often using parts and designs nearly identical to the original.

This revolver is chambered in .25-20, a unique and less common caliber for a single action, more often seen in lever-action rifles. Its 9-inch barrel and original finish give it a striking profile, and the high condition makes it an attractive option for collectors of post-war American wheelguns.

For fans of the Old West aesthetic or collectors of Great Western Arms revolvers, this is a wonderful example with sharp markings, solid mechanics, and C&R eligibility. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
