Markings: The barrel is marked with inspection proofs. The top of the barrel extension is marked “1917” The toggle is marked “ERFURT” with a crown. The left side of the barrel extension is marked “2800” The last “0” has been double struck. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with Inspection and proof marks. The bottom of the barrel is marked “2800” The front of the frame is marked “2800” The trigger, takedown lever, safety, firing pin assembly, side plate, toggle, and both grip panels are marked “00”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed blade. The rear sight is a “V”-notch integral to the rear toggle link.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels serial matched to this pistol. The checkering is defined. There is some light handling wear present. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Very Good condition.
Type of Finish: Blued
Finish Originality: Original (The last 0 on the barrel appears to be double struck)
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some stubborn fouling present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 85% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows general operational wear with some surface oxidation and thinning. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp and well defined. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The take down lever retention pin has worn out and when the gun is disassembled the lever will fall out. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
