Our Assessment: This FN High Power is a desirable German-occupation example produced during World War II. The WaA140 Waffenamt acceptance stamps clearly identify it as a military-issued pistol for N@zi Germany, manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale factory in Belgium while under occupation. These pistols were issued to elite German units including the Waffen-SS and paratroopers due to their high capacity and rugged reliability.
Its wartime features, including the simplified fixed sights and blued finish, highlight Germany’s push for streamlined armament production during the height of the war. The presence of all matching serial numbers and intact Waffenamt stamps makes this a particularly appealing piece for collectors of WWII military sidearms.
Whether you’re a historical collector, reenactor, or simply someone who appreciates the High Power’s significance, this pistol bridges FN’s legacy with the darker chapters of European wartime manufacturing. Its authenticity and character make it a highly collectible and historically potent sidearm. Please see our High Quality photos and good luck on your bids.-C.M.
