Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “P14-45”. The left side of the slide is marked “PARA-ORDNANCE”. The right side of the frame is marked “RH5520” “PARA-ORDNANCE INC. FT. LAUDERDALE FL / MADE IN CANADA”. The barrel is marked “.45 ACP”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot. The rear sight is a two white dot square notch sight dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece textured black synthetic panels with Para-Ordnance logos. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp with only minor handling wear. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol comes with one 14-round .45 ACP magazine in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minor operational handling marks. There are a few faint scuffs and shallow marks from normal use. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition, New Old Stock, and unfired. Stored in retiring dealer’s inventory for years.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original factory hard case with one magazine.
Our Assessment: The Para Ordnance P14.45 was one of the first successful double-stack .45 ACP pistols, offering unmatched capacity and firepower in a 1911-style platform. Its wide-body design was ahead of its time, providing an ergonomic grip and a 14+1 round capacity without sacrificing the familiar 1911 control layout.
This particular example is in Excellent condition, with minimal handling wear, a bright and sharp bore, and complete with its original case. It would make an outstanding addition to any Para Ordnance collection, an excellent choice for competitive shooting, or a serious defensive pistol for those who appreciate capacity and proven design.
