Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “04596789”. The left side of the barrel is marked “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN. CT. U.S.A. / MODEL 922M MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL..22 WMRF ONLY”. The right side of the barrel is marked with a two line warning.
Barrel Length: 20.5” Micro-Grooved Barrel
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a wide scan hooded beaded blade dovetailed to a serrated ramped base screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch elevator sight dovetailed to the barrel. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped, and filled for scope options.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece checkered walnut with a semi-pistol grip, raised comb, Marlin rubber buttpad, two sling studs, and a Marlin bullseye. The LOP measures 13 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. There are a few light handling marks. The stock rates in overall Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. There is some fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows faint operation wear. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
