Our Assessment: The Remington Model 700 is one of the most respected bolt-action rifles in American firearms history, known for its accuracy, smooth cycling, and rugged build. Introduced in the early 1960s, it quickly became a favorite among hunters, precision shooters, and law enforcement marksmen.
This Model 700, manufactured in 1970 and chambered in the flat-shooting .25-06 Remington, is a versatile rifle suitable for everything from varmints to medium game at extended ranges. The condition of the metal and bore is very strong for its age, and the walnut stock retains excellent character with only light evidence of use.
Its C&R eligibility, classic configuration, and reputation for performance make it an excellent choice for collectors, shooters, and vintage rifle enthusiasts alike. Please see our high quality photos and good luck on your bid! -M.C.
