Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “MARK V / U.S. PATENT NO.3,013,355”, “Weatherby ® / SOUTH GATE, CALIF.”. The left side of the chamber is marked “Weatherby ® / .300 MAGNUM”. The right side of the receiver is marked “P59356”. The right side of the MADE IN W.GERMANY”.

Sights / Optics: No provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is installed with two piece scope bases.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a checkered, high gloss walnut, monte carlo stock, with spacered and capped pistol grip, monte carlo comb with cheekpiece, vented Weatherby buttpad, and two swivels front and rear. The LOP measures approximately 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. The stock is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout. There are a few minor handling marks. The action is smooth, the screwheads are sharp and all the markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
