Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade. The rear sight is a square notch milled into the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This revolver is equipped with checkered Colt American Eagle grips. The checkering is defined. There is some light handling wear present. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blued & Case Colored
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its original metal finish. There only a few very fain scratches on the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. This revolver is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up with light play at each chamber. The hammer has a solid half-cock and full-cock position. The trigger is crisp, and the timing is proper. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
