Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER Model 1892 – – Caliber 44 Rem Mag ONLY”. The right is marked “Made by Miroku – Japan – – Imported by BACO, Inc. – Morgan, Utah / Winchester is a registered trade mark of Olin Corporation”. The top-rear of the barrel and the top of the chamber ring each have ovalled “WP” proofs. The top tang is marked “WINCHESTER / MODEL 1892”. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver at the front. There is a Winchester Repeating Arms sticker on the magazine tube.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a folding ladder-style sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel. The rear sight presents a “U”-notch when folded down. There is a “U”-notch on the slider and the ladder is graduated from “0” to “20” in increments of five.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece smooth walnut with banded forend, straight grip, straight comb and steel carbine-style buttplate. The stocks have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 12 7/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has no notable wear or damage. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This rifle has a tang-mounted safety and a rebounding hammer. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes in a white cardboard Winchester box with serial-matching label, an assortment of factory paperwork including manual, and cable lock. The box has scattered storage wear and a puncture on the lid, in about Very Good condition.
