Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “ZAVODI CRVENA ZASTAVA / KRAGUJEVAC YUGOSLAVIA” with the Zastava logo. The left side of the barrel is marked “Cal. 7×57.” The right side of the receiver is marked “ATL SUMMERVILLE SC” and “M70 STANDARD.” The serial number “183706” is marked on the left side of the receiver. Additional proof marks are present on the left side of the barrel and receiver.

Sights / Optics: The rifle has a front ramped post sight. The rear sight is a tangent notch sight adjustable for elevation. There is also a scope mount rail on the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle has a checkered walnut stock with a Monte Carlo comb and cheek rest. It features a capped pistol grip, sling swivel studs, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. The wood has a smooth gloss finish, showing scattered light handling marks. The checkering remains crisp. The LOP measures 14 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is dark, the rifling is mostly-sharp. There is moderate visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear, with some thinning on high edges and at the muzzle. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
