Our Assessment: The Enfield SHT LE III* later had its designation changed to the Enfield No.1 Mk3*. This one was made at Lithgow in Australia for the Military back in 1943 and was around for WWII. This one has been refurbished and there are numerous historic markings that have remained strong on the metal. The bore is good and just waiting to put lead downrage. This one comes with a nice sling and a single magazine, it will add nicely to an Enfield or WWII collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
