Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade protected by a factory hood. The rear sight is an articulating express-style speed sight with two selectable elevation settings.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The rifle is stocked in gloss-finished walnut with a pistol grip and cheekpiece. The wood shows scattered scuffs, small dings, and scratches throughout from typical use but retains strong overall luster. There are no cracks. A red rubber recoil pad marked “WINCHESTER” is installed and shows a small area of material loss at the heel. Two sling swivel studs are installed. The stock rates in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is heavy fouling in the grooves but no visible erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains approximately 90% of its original blued finish. There is thinning on exposed edges, small spots of oxidation near the muzzle and bolt handle, and general wear from handling. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The bolt cycles smoothly, locks tightly, and the safety engages as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
