Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with “WINCHESTER -TRADEMARK-” and the right side has the serial number on it. The left side of the barrel is marked “-MADE IN U.S.A / -WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL- / -WINCHESTER MODEL 70 300 WIN. MAGNUM”. The scope is marked “6x Redfield”.

Sights / Optics: The rifle is equipped with a hooded bead front sight mounted on a serrated ramped base. The rear sight is a flip up adjustable elevation u-notch. Mounted to the receiver is a 6x Redfield scope. The optic is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with a raised cheekrest and a checkered semi-pistol grip and forend. The buttstock has a synthetic buttpad. There are some handling marks, primarily scratches, but no significant cracks or chips. The length of pull (LOP) measures approximately 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is dull and the rifling is a bit worn. There is some light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its original metal finish. There are some light handling marks from normal operation. There are small oxidation spots and minor blemishes throughout. The bolt handle shows some moderate finish wear from operation. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
